Born in Rome in 1982, he began studying classical piano at the age of 8 with an immediate approach to ensemble music, taking part in multiple bands. He graduated in theory and solfeggio with top marks at L’Aquila conservatory.
At the age of 20 he began a new musical journey by undertaking transverse flute studies with Alessandro Papotto, saxophonist and flautist of the Banco del Mutuo Soccorso. He ranges across various musical genres thanks to live and studio experiences, from funky to fusion, from blues to his great passion, 70s progressive rock in all its many nuances. This passion leads him to become a great researcher and scholar of the basic instruments of Progressive such as the MiniMoog, Rhodes, Meltron and Hammond, of which he follows continuous improvement courses. Performing on the most important stages in Rome for 20 years now.

In 2000 he joined the “Tartarughe Millenarie”, a funk-fusion band with friends Giovanni and Emanuele Barco. In 2008 he founded the Progressive Rock Band “Mù” together with his pianist and brother Alessandro Sorrenti, one of the very few tributes in Rome to Italian and English progressive rock which brought the entire Banco del Mutuo Soccorso album “Darwin” from 1973 to the stage, also collaborating with Rodolfo Maltese, historic BMS guitarist.
In 2015 he joined the Animals Pink Floyd, one of the most original tributes on the Roman scene and beyond, with the typical sounds of Pink Floyd from the 70s and beyond.
In 2016 he joined the CMF – Collettivo Miniera Fonica, a multifaceted music project created by Simone Virgili, known in a live performance of the Animals Pink Floyd, taking unreleased songs and the show ”Fermata Napoli Centrale” around Italy, paying homage to the saxophonist James Senese and his contribution to Napoli Centrale’s Progressive Rock. In 2016 he joined the Laviàntica Gruppo progressive anni 2000 as a solo flautist and hammond and miniog player, he will participate in the arrangements of their second album ”The experience” released in 2018.

Since 2013 he joined SEMIRAMIS as band member and performer, and later as author and composer of the music and lyrics of the album ”La Fine non esiste” released in February 2024.

Born in Rome in 1966, he began listening to music at an early age, starting to play the keyboard at the age of 9, after becoming an enthusiastic listener of EL&P and Deep Purple.
At 12 he started playing the electric bass, and at 13 he switched to the guitar, trying to replicate the solos of Ritchie Blackmore and George Harrison.
Basically self-taught, at 14 he felt the need to study what would become his main instrument and took private acoustic guitar and classical guitar lessons.
Enthusiastic about the world of progressive rock, both English and Italian, in 1986 he formed a band called Alterego with some musicians friends, with which he began to compose original songs, performing live in some clubs around Rome.
In 2013, with the band which in the meantime changed its name from Alterego to Laviàntica, he recorded and published the self-produced album “Clessidra” as an electric guitarist, taking care of the compositions and arrangements.
With Laviàntica in 2014 at Guido Bellachioma’s Progressivamente Free Festival, he opened the concert for Semiramis and met Daniele Sorrenti who joined the band as a transverse flute soloist.
In 2018, again with Laviàntica, he released the album “The Experience” for the French label Musea.
In 2020, during the lockdown, he deepened the use of the instrument with the help of maestro Giacomo Anselmi.

In 2023, he was also contacted by Daniele Sorrenti to join SEMIRAMIS just before entering the studio for the recording of the new album – ”La Fine non esiste”, taking care of the acoustic guitars, 6 and 12 strings and sharing since then the history of the band.

Born in Rome in 1983, raised in a context full of music as well as culture and arts in general, he has cultivated rather eclectic interests and influences. The most significant experiences for his musical education, while remaining self-taught, are linked to the study of the guitar in the last two years of high school after a series of ensemble music experiences with amateur bands. With a long theatrical career (Bagatto company, from 2004 to 2023) he has built familiarity with the stage and integrated his approach to music. He also took part in a preparatory course in singing and vocal emission (teacher Edda dell’Orso in 1999) and participated in a secular choir with mixed voices of sacred music, as a tenor in the two-year period 1999-2000).

He took part as a vocalist in short collaborations with various groups of which Aredhea at the beginning and Laviàntica among those active today.

Between 1998 and 2008 he played in the band Tartarughe Millenarie, as lead vocalist. This is a Roman band born between 1998 and 1999 with rock, hard rock and blues cover experiences that began working on unreleased funk-rock songs after 2000 and performed numerous times on stages throughout Italy.

Since 2008 he has joined the band ”Mù” as voice and acoustic guitar, together with Emanuele Barco, Ivo Mileto and Daniele Sorrenti. The Band works on some tributes to progressive rock, with songs selected from the vast Italian and Anglo-Saxon panorama and on monographic tributes (for example Darwin! by Banco del Mutuo Soccorso at the Elsa Morante theatre, Rome, on 11/22/2014).

In 2023, shortly before SEMIRAMIS started studio recordings for the new album – ”La Fine non esiste” he was contacted by Daniele and entrusted with the lead vocals. He rightfully becomes part of the band’s line-up.

Born in Rome in 1983, guitarist with initial classical training, he continued his self-taught studies on the electric guitar. At the same time he cultivated the study of the transverse flute and learned the rudiments of singing and breathing with the teacher Edda dell’Orso.

Alongside the study of music, he collaborated with the permanent theater company “Alberto Savinio”.

He is a founding member of “Notice To The Public”, a Rock Grunge band with which he explored and experimented with the typical distorted sounds of the Grunge genre, actively contributing to the writing and musical arrangements of the band’s songs which was followed by an intense concert activity.

In 1998 he was a founding member of the “Tartarughe Millenarie”, a funk-fusion band with the musicians Mattia di Cretico, Fabrizio Dottori, Giuliano Guerrieri, Giovanni Barco, actively contributing to the writing and musical arrangements of the band’s songs and consolidating the stage experience with intense live activity.

In 2008, he took part in the Progressive Rock formation “Mù” formed by musicians Daniele Sorrenti, Alessandro Sorrenti, Giovanni Barco, Ivo Mileto and Roberto Cherubini. In the decade of activity with Mù he studied and explored progressive music with particular reference to the techniques of guitarists such as – among others – Fripp, Belew, Hackett, Barre, Howe, Mussida, Maltese, Tofani. He collaborated in various capacities (concert performer and/or permanent member) in live and/or musical writing and arranging activities in various lineups as an electric and acoustic guitarist (“the fifth quarter”, “Animals Pink Floyd” – “The Wall Movie Project “).

Since 2018 he has been a stable member of the Progressive Rock group SEMIRAMIS with whom, in addition to the band live activity, he contributes to the writing and arrangement of the album “La Fine Non Esiste”.

Born in Florence in 1964, he absorbed the influence of a family closely linked to the world of the arts since early aged and began studying music playing classical guitar, piano and trumpet. He subsequently attended the “Testaccio School of Popular Music”, deepening his study of the electric bass at the end of the 1980s with maestro Toni Armetta. Active as a musician since the beginning of the 90s, he has played in all types of public and private events, sharing the stage with a variety of bands and musicians, gaining an experience allowing him to fit in and move easily in the widest variety of contexts , ranging from pop to funky, from rock to pop music, from smooth to dance music, from flamenco to jazz for which he attended seminars and specialization clinics.

Since 2007 he has participated in many projects as Special Guest, session man and in the recording studio with various artists, including: Jazz musicians Fabrizio La Fauci and Roberto Trombetti for Don Chisciotte (Picanto Records), Paolo Molinari “Il silenzio delle mie parole”; With the flamenco trio of guitarist Federico Pesce for the World Music Project of Bojano, an event organized by pianist Simone Sala, which saw the participation of prestigious groups that year, including the Billy Cobham Sextet.
In 2016 he joined the CMF – Collettivo Miniera Fonica, Fusion-Prog band of the Roman saxophonist Simone Virgili, together with Daniele Sorrenti.
In 2018 with the Soul-Funk group “About the Future” he worked for the recording of a single (Side A: Where is Love, Side B: Tomorrow) published by the Austrian label SixtySix Records and with the Roman singer-songwriter Paolo Molinari for the recording from the album “Adesso come ieri”. Since 2013 he has permanently joined SEMIRAMIS, sharing the band history.

Born in Rome in 1955, he began to approach music at the age of 11 by playing the guitar, like all the kids of the time. Only after a year, listening to “A Salty Dog” (Procol Harum), he understood that his definitive instrument would become the drums.

At 13 he met Giampiero Artegiani and Michele Zarrillo with whom he formed some ”minor” original music bands until arriving in SEMIRAMIS in 1972 with Maurizio Zarrillo, Michele’s brother, and Marcello Reddavide.

From 1972 to 1974 he played in SEMIRAMIS with whom he recorded and produced the album ”Dedicato a FRAZZ” which would become a milestone in ”POP” Progressive Rock.
From May ’73 he began playing with SEMIRAMIS in the most important festivals in Italy, competing with the most famous groups (PFM, BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCIRSO, OSANNA, AREA). After completing his experience with SEMIRAMIS from 1979 to 1982, he was under EMI contract, with his friend Artegiani, giving life to several records and collaborations with important artists of the time.

From ’83 onwards he was drummer and road manager in Giampiero Artigiani’s tours, he performed on stages throughout Italy including the Festivalbar, Disco pee l’Estate, Saint Vincent festival, Rino Gaetano award etc, and recorded for artists of the caliber by Massimo Ranieri and many others, remaining in the Italian scene as a performer, broadening his musical horizons and experimenting on different musical fronts. In 2013 he gave life to Reunion Semiramis, rewriting the history of the band to this day.
