Semiramis return to the CrossRoads Live Club in Rome to present, for the first time live, their latest album “La Fine Non Exist” on September 20, 2024.
Frazz is far from dead, on the contrary! Although decades have passed, the protagonist of the first Semiramis concept wants to go back to shaking eardrums and consciences. It will be the music that responds to his internal conflict when he asks himself whether to heal he must die. Only the initial remains of his name, but the essence is intact: the rich and lively arrangements of the same multitude of early instruments lead Semiramis to draw heavily on that progressive rock that consecrated them in the 70s as milestones of the type.
The six songs that make up the highly anticipated new work “La fine non exist” praise the beyond and reject barriers. The lyrics do not refer to a concept and instrumentally prog rock is only the starting point: hard rock moments, jazzy atmospheres, Sabbathian inspirations expand the band’s original imprinting on multiple dimensions which remains to act as a common thread.
On the x-axis the instruments look forward creating a modern and wide-ranging sound thanks to instruments such as keyboards, moog, flute, acoustic and electric guitars, vibraphone; the words on the ordinate axis point upwards, to push people to increase awareness by seeking and illuminating the thousand universes hidden in each one and taking that step forward by overcoming limits and boundaries. “The end does not exist” for this parable from the highest summit.
